Sample Cartoon Image

This is a sample image I presented to a client a few weeks back, who requested that I create a line art cartoon of a girl reading a book done in an exaggerated cartoonish style (reminiscent of chibi or SD). I must admit it was a bit of leap from the stuff I normally draw (demons, monsters etc.) so I was somewhat nervous with how it would turn out in the end. Fortunately, in all I am rather happy with the outcome, particularly with the incorporation of Leo Tolstoy's "War and Peace."

To bring it to completion I decided to paint it and finish it up so I could properly upload it here.
